This
is a trade advertisement from July 1947 showing WDRC FM's involvement
with the Continental Network, a linking of FM stations that distributed
programming from Washington to northern New England. The key station
in the network was Major Armstrong's W2XMN in Alpine, New Jersey.
Franklin M. Doolittle's station on Meriden Mountain in Central Connecticut,
was a member as it was in 1942 when Armstrong's station fed the
American Network.
