November 8, 1932 - James R. Rabbett speech on WDRC. Rabbett was the Democratic Town Chairman in Windsor Locks. In 1932 he led an area committee that successfully argued, in a three-day hearing before the Public Utilities Commission, that electric rates should be reduced for customers of the Northern Connecticut Power Company. Rabbett was the grandfather of Ed Brouder, webmaster of this site.
